Fundraising Information

This is a fund raising event and all Proceeds from Sara’s Beach Walk will benefit the Sara Goodwin Memorial Foundation.

In order to participate in the event, the walkers must meet the following minimum requirements:

Hard Walkers (15 miles):            $250
Strollers (5 miles):                         $50
Punk Walkers (1 mile):            no minimum requirement

Your fundraising commitment is not required when you register, only the registration fee. You will have until Oct. 30th 2009 to raise your commitment dollars. When you check in for the event you will be asked to make a self-pledge promise, by using your credit card to secure the balance of your fundraising commitment. Your card will not be charged at that time. If you have not reached your fundraising commitment by Oct. 30th 2009, your credit card will be charged the remainder of your outstanding commitment balance. Hard Rockers are committed to fundraising $250. Strollers are committed to fundraising $50. Your registration fee does not apply to your fundraising minimum.
