About Sara's Beach Walk

Sara’s Beach Walk is an annual event dedicated to the memory of Sara Goodwin. Every year the walk will span at least 5 miles of beautiful white sand beaches in South Carolina and will take place in the latter part of each year. Sara's Annual Beach Walk was designed to accommodate just about anyone with a desire to participate, from the serious Hard Walker to our younger generation, the Punk Walkers, and also finally to our Strollers.

Sunday November 21, 2010:

11.00 AM - Hard Walkers, Strollers & Punk walkers

This walk is 5-miles along the beach. Starting at the north eastern tip of the Huntington Beach State Park, walkers will head southeast along the beach to Midway Inlet, overlooking Pawley's Island, where they will turnaround and head northeast along the entire length of the beach, past the starting point. Once at Murrel's Inlet, Hard Walkers once again, make an about turn and head back to the finish line!

12.30 PM BBQ at the State Park

Come along and support the charity and have a picnic at the park!
