Sara’s Annual Beach Walk is a three-day event dedicated to the memory of Sara Goodwin. The walk will span 45 miles of the Grand Strand and will take place over three days. Sara’s Annual Beach Walk was designed to accommodate just about anyone with a desire to participate, from the serious Hard Walker to our younger generation, the Punk Walkers, and also finally to our strolling Day Trippers.
Hard Walkers
This walk is divided into three 15-mile stages and Hard Walkers will meet each morning at Hard Rock Park and be shuttled to the starting point. At the end of the first two days, participants will return to Hard Rock Park for a small dinner reception. At the end of the 45-mile walk on Saturday, September 22nd, all walkers will return to Hard Rock Park for a Kick-Ass party and concert honoring everyone who participated in the event!
Day Trippers
This walk is for participants who choose to take a leisurely stroll in the final 5-mile stretch on Saturday. Day Trippers will meet each morning at Hard Rock Park and be shuttled to the starting point. At the end of the walk, all walkers will be returned to Hard Rock Park for a Kick-Ass party and concert honoring everyone who participated in the event.
